As Korean culture is popular in North America, interest in Korea is increasing rapidly. The words 'K-Beauty', 'K-Pop' and 'K-food' all indicate that Korean culture is becoming more well known than before.
The characteristic of Korean food is that the sauce is very diverse—the taste of food changes with spicy, salty and sweet sauce.
This editorial covers delicious spicy, salty and sweet Korean food in Canada recommended by the author.
First, Korea's spicy food recommendation is Katsuya's 'spicy carbonara pork cutlet'. There is also a smooth taste of carbonara, but the sauce is spicy, so it is not greasy. In addition, the sauce contains shrimp and broccoli, which is so good. If you pour sauce on top of a crispy pork cutlet, you will be able to experience a fantastic taste.
Second, if there is a spicier food than this pork cutlet, it is the spicy jokbal of 'Hanyang Jokbal'. This is a pig's foot dish, and the sauce is very spicy but delicious, making it a challenge for people who like spicy food. There is also original jokbal, but spicy jokbal is more addictive.
Third, it is 'Mapo Gamjatang'. Gamjatang is a Korean food made of pork backbone meat and soup. It is a very delicious food because there is a spicy taste in the deep beef bone broth. It may be inconvenient to eat meat from the backbone, but it is also fun to eat meat by peeling off the flesh.
Lastly, 'bb.q Chicken'. There are various flavors of chicken in a Korean chicken restaurant, but if you are not good at eating spicy food, try "cheesling." You will be able to experience a very delicious chicken with the salty taste of cheese and sweet sauce.
