One of our favourite lines from this book is a conversation between the designer and the client. “One time I asked the client of her home. ‘What is it the makes this place so special?’ She replied, ‘This house is well seasoned.’’ Well nothing speaks well of southern charm than the comparison to delicious food.

James Farmer is a master in restoration and bringing joy, colour and depth to the homes he has nurtured. They are authentic and livable. As design visionaries we always appreciate crisp - clean design but this book is filled with rooms that mix textures, shapes, colours and themes. Truly charming!
