Interior designers create spaces according to their imagination but they also design spaces by combining already defined styles. It is easier to refer to existing styles when we want to explain a mood. Let’s define some of the famous interior styles.
1. Scandinavian
Scandinavian interior design style emphasizes clean and quiet simplicity. The decor is functional, minimal, emphasizing organic forms, subtle interests, gray undertones and white comfortable charm. Often it also provides a point colour reference for the whole mood.
2. Hollywood regency
Hollywood Regency is one of the most timeless and fun interior design styles. This was popular from 40's-60's and back since the mid 90's. This is inspired by Art-Deco and silhouettes with a grown-up sense of high-polished glamor. It contains French furnishings, clean lines, vibrant hits of color, and ultra-glam notes brought in via crystal, mirror, and high-shine surfaces and finishes.
3. Shabby chic
This design style reminds California's comfortable style in the mid-80s and 90s. The shabby chic interiors are made up of antique and vintage French design and furniture, and the soft and slightly femme chicness harmonizes with the traditional interior style. It will be easy to understand this design when you think of the white overstuffed sofas, dirty painted wood, and gold-decorated texture.
4. Rustic
This design is inspired outdoors and a simple farmhouse style. It focuses on unexpected touch such as natural and weathered finishes, raw wood, stones, and leather. We also create a modern interior style by combining various types of furniture such as customized flush Sherpa sofas, industrial wire pendants, and unique leather chairs.
5. Bohemian
One of the most timeless and popular interior design styles, the Bohemian style consists of a comfortable blend of world-inspired vintage and antique furniture. It's a style with bead processing, jewelry tones, and a relaxed mood overall.
6. Mid-century modern
Modern furniture in the middle of the century suits any room and is an excellent element in creating a rich and diverse style of living room. Also, modern times in the mid-20th century use features from the 50s and 60s for a clean retro feel inspired by Denmark. Simple straight silhouettes, organic shapes, quiet production, and emphasis on functionality are key points of modern styling in the middle of the century.
7. Industrial
Industrial interior design is clean, somewhat masculine and minimal. The industrial interior style consists of neutral shades, wood, and unfinished metal, and ultimately gives a slight steam-punk feel. In fact, this design style is not an easy style to try because it requires enough aesthetic space to accommodate elements inspired by a factory vibe.
